The EU-VILLAGE project focuses on strengthening youth participation in local communities, particularly by encouraging young people to become more actively involved in democratic processes and decisions affecting their everyday lives. Recognising the importance of youth voices in shaping inclusive and sustainable communities, the project seeks to create opportunities for dialogue, collaboration and engagement between young people and local stakeholders. Through youth participation activities and non-formal education, EU-VILLAGE aims to support young people in expressing their ideas, developing civic engagement skills and contributing to the future of their communities. The project places particular emphasis on connecting local perspectives with wider European values, encouraging active citizenship, inclusion and cooperation. By empowering young people to take an active role in community life, EU-VILLAGE seeks to strengthen their sense of belonging and their capacity to contribute to more participatory and inclusive societies.
